"Stunning..... A phenomenal adaptation that will have you on the edge of your seat in wonder"
Theatre and Tonic review Vanity Fair, 2025
This summer, Moving Parts Theatre Company brings its bold new adaptation of Jane Austen’s masterpiece Northanger Abbey to some of England’s finest outdoor theatre locations. This witty and thrilling coming of age story follows the fortunes of Catherine Morland, as she navigates between the suffocating confines of Regency society and the thrilling world of her imagination, inspired by the Gothic fiction that she devours.

Wow, wow and wow β loved your show in Oxford tonight. We gave up our usual Sunday roast to be there and glad we did. Very imaginative and creative in every respect and so much energy from your performers. I never expected you to hold the attention of 3 teenagers for 3 hours. But you succeeded. And β¦ they came away singing and smiling!
