Rain doesn’t stop us! Come prepared by packing a waterproof (no umbrellas during performances please as they obstruct views). We’ll ONLY cancel performances if the weather becomes dangerous. Prepare for a hot day by bringing sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. We also recommend some insect repellent. Bring a coat too in case it gets chilly when the sun sets.
Comfort
A few of our venues have a limited amount of seating available – but to be on the safe side, we recommend you bring a cushion, camping chair, or a blanket, (the advantage of sitting on blankets is that you are more likely to be given a space near the front…). If in doubt, do check with the venue directly about seating.
Food and Drink
For most of our venues, you are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy during the performance. However, some venues sell snacks and drinks, so picnics might not be welcome- every place is different so do check first. We recommend you always bring a bottle of water at the very least.
Timings
We recommend you arrive 20 – 30 minutes before the performance starts to find your spot, settle and enjoy a refreshment. Late comers will be admitted but are unlikely to get a good view! Performance length is 2 hours including a 20-minute interval. Some venues prefer a 30-minute interval, so do check if you have a train to catch!
Photography
We love seeing your photos online after each performance!
Please remember to tag us on Instagram ( @moving_parts_theatre_co) & Facebook (@movingpartstheatrecompany).
When taking photos, please be respectful of those around you. Not everybody will want to be caught on camera, so do please focus on yourselves and the performers, also remember to keep the flash turned off.
Dogs
Some venues allow well behaved dogs, but do check directly with them first.
Guide / Assistance dogs are always welcome.
Wheelchair access
Some of our venues are wheelchair accessible. Please check directly with them before booking.
